Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions across all our services. For more detail on a specific service, see Home Hearing Tests, Hearing Aids or Ear Wax Removal.

What services do you help arrange?
Hearing tests, hearing aid fittings and upgrades, and ear wax removal (microsuction) — all with a qualified, independent audiologist. See our Home Hearing Tests, Hearing Aids and Ear Wax Removal pages for details on each.
Do you offer home visits?
Yes, across all our services, for anyone who finds it difficult to travel to a clinic — including elderly parents being booked for by an adult child. Let us know when you enquire.
Which counties do you cover?
Sligo, Galway, Donegal, Cavan, Roscommon, Leitrim, Mayo, Clare, Westmeath and Longford.
How much does an appointment cost?
Cost depends on the service and, for hearing aids, the technology involved — best discussed directly once the audiologist knows what you need. The PRSI Treatment Benefit scheme may help toward the cost of a hearing aid.
How do I book an appointment?
Use the enquiry form on this site. We review every enquiry and get back to you — usually the same day — to arrange a time that suits you.
Can I book on behalf of someone else, like a parent?
Yes — this is one of the most common reasons people get in touch with us. Include their details and your own contact number when you enquire.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. We collect the minimum needed to arrange your appointment, and don't share it beyond what's necessary. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Do you diagnose hearing conditions yourselves?
No — we facilitate booking with a qualified, independent audiologist, who carries out any assessment. We don't provide medical diagnosis ourselves.
